In 2003, Mykita started with the same pioneering and independent spirit that shaped the city that gave birth to it, Berlin. At first, no one wanted to make their original design glasses, which pushed them to set up their own manufacturing workshop.
Developing their own tools and the steps required to meet design constraints have become Mykita's trademark and one of its greatest qualities. At the heart of its premises, the modern workshop is the combination of know-how and new, adapted technologies.
At Mykita, the design is perfect, the glasses are elegant and the styles are varied. The materials used are surgical steel, cellulose acetate, and nylon, used with patented screwless hinges.
It is therefore no coincidence that the brand has regularly won the most prestigious design awards for several years. This is why you will be able to discover an optical range, a solar range, as well as the Mykita Nylon capsule collections in 3D printing, Mykita Studio, and the limited editions in collaboration with Maison Margiela and Damir Doma.
