The story of Oliver Peoples begins in 1986, when the Leight brothers, Larry and Dennis, opened a boutique in California on the legendary Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

They created the Oliver Peoples brand based on a collection of retro, new age frames purchased at an auction. The frames date from the 40s-60s but have never been worn. Success is there, the Oliver Peoples brand is created.

The Fairmont is a timeless and sophisticated frame that owes its success to its versatility. It is one of the best-selling models and is available in three sizes. The new translucent and custom patterned acetate colors offer a modern look.
