The story of Oliver Peoples begins in 1986, when the Leight brothers, Larry and Dennis, opened a boutique in California on the legendary Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
They created the Oliver Peoples brand based on a collection of retro, new age frames purchased at an auction. The frames date from the 40s-60s but have never been worn. Success is there, the Oliver Peoples brand is created.
Launched in the Summer 2009 collection, the Daddy B has been seen on some of the most famous faces, featured on various magazine covers, is recognized by name and is still sought after today.
